Just ask any NFL team, getting the QB position matters immensely!
While it doesn’t necessarily carry the same weight for fantasy football in 1QB leagues, it absolutely matters to get your QB position set up properly in Superflex leagues and 2QB formats.
With that in mind, here are the latest QB rankings from my 2026 Fantasy Football Rankings that you can take into your drafts with you!

The Top QBs to Draft in Fantasy Football
Kyler Murray, Minnesota Vikings
It’s going to be incredibly tempting to go after one of the bigger names at the QB position early on in your drafts.
If Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, or even someone like Caleb Williams – who graces the cover of Madden this year – is there available on the board for you, it’s going to be a difficult decision to pass on them and take a RB or WR.
However, if you do choose to wait until one of the final rounds of your draft, Minnesota Vikings QB Kyler Murray is going to be right there waiting for you – and he comes with plenty of upside this season.
The narrative surrounding Kyler is peculiar. In everyone’s mind, it appears as though they believe that he’s completely washed and that he’s incapable of being a starting QB in this league. But we need to remember that he was actually very productive for the Arizona Cardinals just two seasons ago…
In 2024, Murray put up nearly 4,000 passing yards, 21 touchdowns to 11 interceptions, and was the QB10 in fantasy football on the back of 572 rushing yards and five scores.
A down year in 2025, where he only played in five games, is what’s fresh in everyone’s mind, but he can still play at a high level. Add in the fact that he’s now paired with a QB like Kevin O’Connell and this season could get very interesting quickly.
Murray was let down by his WRs in 2025 – particularly Marvin Harrison Jr. – but that’s not going to happen here in Minnesota. He now gets to throw to arguably one of the best WRs we’ve ever seen in Justin Jefferson, along with solid wideouts in Jordan Addison and Jauan Jennings.
No one in your league is going to want to touch Murray, but that creates an opportunity for you to load up on more premier positions – in 1QB formats – like RB or WR and then scoop up the veteran QB much later on in your drafts. Just like with Drake Maye last season, the late-round QB that hits is a big advantage for your fantasy football roster.
Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
It seems as though everyone has forgotten just how freaking good Jayden Daniels’ rookie season was in 2024.
The former Arizona State and LSU QB came into the league and absolutely dominated with nearly 3,600 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, only nine interceptions, and a QB5 fantasy finish on the back of 891 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
He was dominant, but his fantasy shine has worn off a bit after a down season in 2025 that was riddled with injuries. The play calling became stale under Kliff Kingsbury and Daniels was never really able to get into a rhythm even when he was out there on the field.
Going into 2026, Daniels has a new offensive coordinator that’s going to bring a more pro-style system to the table, which should accentuate Daniels’ top-tier traits. As long as he stays healthy in 2026, there shouldn’t be any reason that he doesn’t pay off his current ADP.
