The NFL Draft is now moving further and further into the distance and we’re gearing up to settle into the quietest part of the NFL offseason.
But that doesn’t mean that the fantasy football content or preparation has to stop! This is a perfect time to get ahead of the rest of your league and do the work to understand how the landscape has changed since the end of last season.

The Top Tight Ends To Target in Fantasy Football
Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears
It took a little bit for him to get up to speed and fully integrate into the offense, but once he did, Colston Loveland was a monster for fantasy football purposes.
From Weeks 15-18 last year, Loveland was the TE3 in all of fantasy football as he saw a whopping 32 total targets. This ranked first among all TEs throughout that time span, even more than fantasy football superstars like Trey McBride and Brock Bowers.
In fact, if you expand his sample size to include the NFL postseason, Loveland saw 48 total targets in his final six contests.
We cannot extrapolate that to a full season, but it proves the point that Loveland is going to be a key central figure in this Chicago Bears passing attack going into 2026, especially when you factor in the fact that DJ Moore is now in Buffalo.
It’s going to cost a lot to get Loveland onto your roster in redraft leagues this year, but he is still worth the price for me right now at his current ADP (Average Draft Position).
Isaiah Likely, New York Giants
We don’t have a super large sample size to go off of when Isaiah Likely is the lead TE for a NFL offense, but when Mark Andrews has been sidelined over the past few years, we’ve seen impressive things from the dynamic athlete.
Over the last eight games that Likely has played without Andrews, he’s scored an impressive six receiving touchdowns. When he is alone in this room, he can be featured as a centerpiece.
And now, he is the main option for the New York Giants as he follows his old head coach, John Harbaugh, over to The Big Apple.
Likely’s ADP is going to be fascinating to watch over the course of the next few months. Will the hype get out of control or could he actually wind up being a value?
In this offense with Jaxson Dart, he may not reel in volume like the top players of McBride, Bowers, Loveland, etc. but he could very easily push for eight or more receiving touchdowns this season as a large target in the red zone.
If he stays in the low-end TE1 range, and you want to wait on drafting the position until the later rounds, Likely should be your top target.
