The Top QBs To Target In Fantasy Football
Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
It was a rough season last year for Jayden Daniels, to put it lightly.
After amassing 364.8 fantasy points in his rookie campaign, with an average of 21.5 per contest, Daniels’ production fell off a cliff in 2025 to just 117.3 total points and 16.8 points per game.
Injuries plagued him all year and he never fully got the opportunity to get right and showcase off his elite athleticism, which certainly didn’t help things. However, it’s a new season and a new ecosystem for him here in Washington under offensive coordinator, David Blough.
Daniels has too much talent to believe that what we saw from him last season is his new baseline. In my mind, all that last year resulted in is a bit of a discount from where he typically would be going in fantasy drafts.
Take advantage of the lower acquisition cost and build your fantasy team around him. He comes with ridiculous upside again in 2026.

Kyler Murray, Minnesota Vikings
At the time of writing, we don’t fully know if Kyler Murray is going to be the starting QB for the Minnesota Vikings. While that’s certainly the expectation, given his previous experience and the lackluster performance from JJ McCarthy last season, it’s not been made official.
So, there is still some risk associated with hitting the draft button next to his name this early on in the process. However, the upside that he presents is too tantalizing to let him sit here buried in the slums of ADP (Average Draft Position).
Murray, when he’s locked in, is one of the better fantasy football QBs out there due to his rushing upside and ability to push the ball deep downfield. In an offense that is coached by Kevin O’Connell – one of the best offensive minds out there – and features players like Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, Murray could go off in 2026.
There’s risk, yes, but the cost to acquire him is certainly worth the potential payoff down the line. If you play in a single QB league, wait on the position until the final round and scoop Murray up for nothing. If he hits, you’ve got a potential difference maker in your lineup.
