Dynasty fantasy football is a beautiful game. It’s a constant journey of attempting to better your roster – with the long-term view in mind – through trades, while also being able to find true diamond-in-the-rough players on the waiver wire.
They’re out there, but it takes a bit more preparation and research to find where the gems are compared to what just winds up being thrown into the dumpster in a few months.
With that in mind, here are the top players to stash in dynasty leagues as we head deeper into the heart of the offseason.

Stash These Players In Dynasty Fantasy Football
Tyson Bagent, QB, Chicago Bears
We haven’t seen a ton from Tyson Bagent on a NFL field.
In fact, we haven’t seen anything from him in a NFL regular season game since he started four games in 2023 – before Caleb Williams was drafted – and he completed 65% of his passes for just 6.0 YPA and three touchdowns to six interceptions.
Yet, whenever he’s gotten chances in the NFL preseason over the past two years, he’s flashed enough to have his name consistently come up in trade rumors over recent months.
The Bears rewarded Bagent with a solid backup QB contract that will run through the end of the 2027 season, but it’s easily movable and a team would gladly take him on at just $5,000,000 per year if they believe in him as a starter.
Chicago would have to be blown away by a trade offer for them to move off of a QB that’s good enough to be desired on the trade market, but QBs are always in hot demand around the NFL.
Bagent could be moved sometime in the next calendar year to be given a chance at a starting job, which would instantly boost his fantasy value. And right now, he’s on waiver wires everywhere – even in Superflex formats.
At the very least, he should be stashed for the potential of Caleb Williams ever missing time. With these offensive weapons in Chicago, he’d certainly be in the top 24 QB conversation each week.

Taylen Green, QB, Cleveland Browns
If you’re in a super deep Superflex dynasty league, finding QBs worth stashing isn’t exactly the easiest task in the world.
However, it’s not very often that QBs that are rare athletes dripping with upside have a legitimate path to a starting role in a NFL offense, which means that we should probably at least pay attention.
Taylen Green shattered records at the NFL Combine, standing 6’6 and 227 pounds with a rocket of an arm, he ran a 4.36 40 yard dash. Additionally, he added on a 43.5″ vertical jump and a 11′ 2″ broad jump.
He’s a rare athlete that has every tool and trait to be an elite fantasy football weapon, but he’s incredibly raw and will need significant refinement.
The Cleveland Browns will be rolling out Deshaun Watson this season – presumably – and we have a very strong feeling of how that’s going to go. If Watson falters, would Todd Monken turn to Shedeur Sanders – who he inherited from the last coaching staff – that was rough in his starts last season?
Or would he turn to a player that he had a hand in selecting this offseason, who has shades of what made Lamar Jackson – who he just coached in Baltimore – a star QB?
This is purely an upside stash, as your QB4 or QB5, but the upside is certainly tantalizing.
MarShawn Lloyd, RB, Green Bay Packers
Remember when MarShawn Lloyd was supposed to be the next big thing for dynasty fantasy football lineups?
While I never was there with Lloyd as a prospect, it’s been an unfortunate road for the athletic RB as he quite simply hasn’t even been on the field long enough to prove whether or not talent evaluators were correct in their assessment of him.
Now though, there’s no one in his path for the RB2 role in this Green Bay offense. Chris Brooks isn’t a legitimate threat for touches and Pierre Strong Jr. is the only other name we recognize in this backfield.
Add on the current legal situation playing out with Josh Jacobs and there’s even more of an incentive to scoop up someone in shallower dynasty leagues who may be sitting out there.

If the Lloyd dynasty manager in your league got tired of waiting, now may be the perfect time to add him off of the waiver wire. Or even go trade for him for a 3rd or 4th round dynasty rookie pick.
Eli Heidenreich, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Eli Heidenreich was a popular name in the NFL Draft cycle this year as a sleeper to keep an eye out for where he landed.
While he didn’t get the draft capital that many analysts were projecting – just the 230th overall pick – he certainly has the skillset and talent to be a factor for fantasy football down the line.
He’s a skilled receiver out of the backfield and he has the ability to be a threat at all three levels. Additionally, he shows good footwork and athleticism to be a capable runner in between the tackles as a running back, too.
The issue is that the offense that he played in at Navy means that essentially nothing translates and he’s going to have to be taught how to play in a pro-style system. That’s going to take time.
Jaylen Warren and Rico Dowdle are above him on the depth chart, so Heidenreich can learn on the practice field and be a factor on special teams in year one. Heading into year two though is where we could see him take a jump up in snap percentages.
Stash him on your bench for all of 2026 and you could possibly have a solid PPR weapon going into 2027 and beyond.

Isaiah Bond, WR, Cleveland Browns
The reason why Isaiah Bond went undrafted in 2025 was certainly not because of a lack of talent.
There were legal issues that were in the middle of playing out at the time of the 2025 NFL Draft, but Bond was cleared of all charges in August of 2025 and he subsequently signed with the Cleveland Browns.
Bond didn’t factor much into the offense during his rookie campaign, but he has been reportedly catching the eye of every beat reporter so far during OTAs this offseason.
It’s a crowded WR room in Cleveland now with KC Concepcion, Denzel Boston, Jerry Jeudy, and Cedric Tillman all vying for targets this season. However, Bond has the talent level to easily step into the WR3 role sooner than later.
Not many dynasty managers are even thinking about Bond. That’s your opportunity to swoop in and stash him on your bench to see how this all plays out.
Jack Bech, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
It seems as though every dynasty manager has completely written Jack Bech off after a poor rookie season.
The former LSU and TCU wideout reeled in just 20 receptions last year as Las Vegas couldn’t get anything going on offense. However, this is still a former second-round NFL Draft pick that has the talent to be a target vacuum for an offense that desperately needs someone to step up.
In Bech’s final collegiate season, he reeled in 62 receptions for over 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns. He has the talent to be a force, but the coaching staff last year seemed hesitant to give him a shot.
Now, Jalen Nailor is Bech’s largest threat for targets at the WR position in Las Vegas – along with players like Tre Tucker and D’Onte Thornton Jr. – which means that Bech could easily see a 20% target share this year if he impresses the new coaching staff.
We shouldn’t expect him to explode onto the scene with 15+ PPR points per game, but there’s a significant opportunity in front of him this season. And he’s on dynasty waiver wires everywhere due to how little of an impact he made in 2025.
Jalen Royals, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
One of my favorite stashes right now is a player who had just two receptions for four yards in all of 2025.
Jalen Royals was drafted in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, but his skillset – particularly as a separator in the quick passing game – made him someone I kept my eye on last season.
Unfortunately, it didn’t amount to much as other players got the opportunity for targets before him, but this year he’s been making the most of the offseason program and has been turning heads.
Additionally, the key part for my interest is the off-field issues that continue to rage on for WR Rashee Rice. He simply cannot stay out of trouble and he’s currently rehabbing from a surgery in a jail cell, which opens the door for Royals to step up in his absence.
If Rice does indeed miss any time this offseason, I expect Royals to be the first man up in this WR room to step into the vacated slot role that is a dream for fantasy football. And right now, Royals is not being considered outside of deep Dynasty formats.
Ja’Lynn Polk, WR, New Orleans Saints
It’s not a great sign when you get traded from the team that spent the No. 37 overall pick on you just a year into your tenure with the team.
Last offseason, after a very disappointing rookie campaign with the New England Patriots, Ja’Lynn Polk was traded to the New Orleans Saints for a fraction of his acquisition cost in the NFL Draft…only to miss all of 2025 with a right shoulder injury.
It hasn’t been a great start to his NFL career, and Polk was over-drafted in the NFL Draft based on my evaluation of him, but he’s beenย completelyย written off in dynasty leagues.
And yet, there’s a role up for grabs here in this New Orleans Saints offense that he could easily step into this season.
Chris Olave and Jordyn Tyson are going to see the majority of the targets in this WR room, but there’s very little proven depth behind them.
Devaughn Vele, Mason Tipton, and rookie Bryce Lance are the only ones standing in the way of Polk assuming the WR3 role for an ascending offense. Additionally, Tyson’s durability has to be factored in as a potential concern, too.
It’s far from a guarantee that Polk will actually make it work here in New Orleans. But in dynasty, we’re always looking for talented players that we can acquire for next to nothing…especially if they can step into a larger role in their respective offenses.
Greg Dulcich, TE, Miami Dolphins
Let’s throw in a TE here, too! Greg Dulcich is someone who I’m keeping a close eye on to begin the season this year, quite simply due to the lack of proven pass catchers in Miami.
The Miami Dolphins have a new QB in Malik Willis, but there are major question marks surrounding his WRs as we head into 2026. Some of the names he’ll be throwing to this season include Tutu Atwell, Jalen Tolbert, Caleb Douglas, Chris Bell Jr., and Malik Washington.
It’s easily the worst WR room on paper across the NFL landscape, which means that there’s significant opportunity for someone else in this offense to step up and command a hefty target share.
Dulcich has never fully put it together across his NFL career, as he has just one season with more than 400 receiving yards since entering the league in 2022, but he’s shown flashes here or there.
If he can stay healthy, there’s a world in which he sees 100+ targets this year simply out of necessity. And if you’re telling me that I could get a player like that at the TE position off my waiver wire right now, I’ll gladly take that shot.
